How the heck do I get up there.
Thanks for the sign.
I know there is that whole thing about what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. It just seems there should be a better test.
I keep thinking back to the Monty Python logic : Witches burn, Wood burns, Wood floats, Witches must float. so if someone is thrown in to the water and they don’t drown then they are a witch and should be burned. If they don’t float and they drown they the were never a witch in the first place. It is not a test you would ever want to take. Of course this completely ignores tiny pebbles… If this post was complete gibberish to you then it probably was not meant for you in the first place. Do yourself a favor to look up Monty Python on youtube. For those of you who laughed, thank you brothers and sisters. Kent

A New Direction
Today is the day. My final day in my office in the city where I have worked for 15 years. I’m not changing jobs, just where I do it. This has been a bit of emotional time for me since I will be saying so long to many friends and clients that I have worked with through births, school, work, and even some deaths, borrowing a phrase from a band from my college days whose name I cannot remember now. I will be moving to a new office about 45 minutes away and most of those friends will want someone closer to sit with and chat across the desk.
It has been a week full of “lasts” for me. I know I am a bit sentimental (my wife would say that is spelled sap) but my lunch buddies will be harder to see, the scenery and source of many of my photos is very different, even my shopping trails will change and it will take me an additional 45 minutes to get to my Nashville Predators games. For God’s sake there is not even a Starbucks near the new location. I’m beginning to sound like I’m whining and I’m certainly not, so I’ll change that around and look on the bright side.
The view from the other side is one of hope and that there will be many more friends yet to meet, new lunch buddies to discover, different scenery for those photos, new places to shop. I guess once I get past today, life may just be exciting and new. Wish me luck in the land of drip coffee. No, I’m going to have to do something about that one.

Busy Busy
A Few Last Sunrise Pictures before we Head Home
bout with food poisoning (?). So we got up a bit earlier this morning
and headed up the highway a bit to a place I scoped out several days
ago to try our luck with the sunrise pictures. They turned out ok I
think even though I had to wade out to slightly higher than the
hemline of my shorts. Oh well, One must suffer…
